Blazing Yellow Alstroemeria

Alstroemeria, sometimes called Peruvian lily, in a bright yellow: each stem carries a cluster of small lily-like flowers, often marked with fine streaks. It is useful in mixed bunches and for filling gaps in an arrangement. Bright yellow lifts a room and pairs well with green and with white. Trim the stems at an angle, strip any leaves below the waterline and use a clean vase, and pick off flowers as they fade so the remaining buds can open.
